Heyco Products, Inc. announced availability of their new Liquid Tight
Snap-In Multi-Hole Cordgrips for a wide range of in-field electrical
power and control wiring applications.
Ideal when individual conductors for power or control are used rather than jacketed cable, the Cordgrips house multiple wires at one entry point while providing a liquid tight seal around each wire at the electrical panel.
The Cordgrips require no tools or locknuts for installation. Their secure “click in place” fit reduces tightening errors by installers and the ratchet design of the sealing nut assembly provides superior anti-vibration and ensures a firm grip on the cable.
The Cordgrip’s unique fingers securely lock into panels with a thickness range from .032” to .093”, prevent rotation when used in “Double D” mounting holes, and offer limited intrusion into the combiner box where access is tight. They are also rated IP64 Protection Class (rain tight), constructed of nylon with TPE sealing glands that resist salt water, weak acids, gasoline, alcohol, oil, grease, and common solvents, and come with a foam-sealing washer.
