LEDtronics has announced Concave Cylindrical 5 mm (T1-3/4) discrete LEDs that emit light said to be as bright at its edges as it is in the centre.
The LEDs are also said to produce illumination that is bright even in direct sunlight, making them suitable sources of illumination for applications such as backlighting, medical equipment and channel-letter illumination.
Leads provided are strong enough for wire wrap applications. Six colors are green (525nm and 568nm), cool white (8000K), blue (461 nm), yellow (596 and 585 nm), red (655, 660 and 630 nm) and orange (606 nm).
