Stainless steel connector series adds size 10 B covers, housing

Harting has extended the application possibilities for its Han-INOX stainless steel product series with new covers for hoods and bulkhead housings in size 10 B.
In addition, a bulkhead housing with integral cover and coupling housing, also for size 10 B, has been introduced. The product series is designed for rugged and highly sensitive applications where a high-grade stainless steel exterior is required. Units are IP65 compliant, suitable for applications in industries like oil and gas, petrochemical production, water filtration and waste-water systems, as well as for food and beverage and pharmaceutical production.

Han-INOX is available in Han 10B and Han 3A sizes and can be combined with most standard contact inserts or the flexible Han-Modular connector series, which makes possible a multitude of applications – from power supply to data transfer, including hybrid combinations of power, data and signal. The robustness of Han-INOX housings and covers is said to provide resistance against chemical and other aggressive substances and ensures reliable operation in the toughest environments.

Harting will be an exhibitor (booth number E-4381) at IMTS 2012 in Chicago (McCormick Place, Sept 10-15). This year's IMTS will partner with IANA (Industrial Automation North America), created by the organizers of Hannover Messe in Germany.
