Binder-USA has announced the field attachable, 768 series M8 threaded connector. A screw termination for conductors along with an iris-shaped shielding ring speed connector assembly are said to ensure EMI protection. The design is available with 3 or 4 contacts. Conductors are terminated to screw terminals and fixed in place using the included Allen wrench.
Terminals will accept conductors with a maximum cross section of 0.5 mm2. The connector's cable exit will support cable with an outer diameter of 3.5 to 5.5mm.
