Heyco Products, Inc. has introduced D-Subminiature Connector Mounting Hole Plugs. The plugs can be used in electrical cabinets, electronic equipment, appliances, distributed control systems or anywhere that "D-Sub" connectors are used. The pry-out plugs protect "DB" style connector-mounting holes (DB-9, DB-15, DB-25 and DB-37).
The D-shaped, polyamide 6/6 nylon hole plugs are available in a range
of sizes for the most styles of multi-pin connectors when their
mounting holes are not used. Units are available in four sizes to fill
9- to 37-pin D-Subminiature electrical-connector mounting holes. They
conform to ASTM standard D-4066-PA111, have a flammability
classification of 94V-2, and have a material temperature index up to
125°C. Plugs are available from U.S. stock in black; white and custom
colors are available upon request.
