UGS has released Version 16 of its Solid Edge 3D CAD software. New
system design features include adjustable parts, fastener systems and
dynamic families of assemblies.
For machine design, the program adds new frame design and piping capability to complement systems design and hybrid 2D/3D enhancements. For consumer products, V16 features Virtual Studio+ for photorealistic rendering.
