Z Corp. has announced the ZPrinter 310 Plus entry-level rapid prototyping machine, which is said to create the most detailed parts in its price class at unparalleled speed. In addition to the new machine, Z Corp. announced zp130, a new high-performance composite material that enables faster printing, greater detail and richer color.
The ZPrinter 310 Plus incorporates many key features of the company's
premium Spectrum Z510 printer - including higher-definition 3D
printing, a heated build chamber, and advanced firmware. The ZPrinter
310 Plus' 300 x 450 dpi resolution is 50% finer than the ZPrinter 310
System, which the ZPrinter 310 Plus will replace.
The heated build chamber combined with the new zp130 material enable users to print more complex geometries and thinner-walled parts, up to 25 percent faster than the original entry-level platform.
