Dispense valve applies sealants without drooling

DPN WEB EXCLUSIVE: The pneumatically operated 725DA-SS piston valve from EFD, Inc. is said to apply consistent shots and neat, uniform beads of sealants and other thick assembly fluids without drooling.
Unlike many valves used to dispense sealants, the valve has no seals to wear out, leak or degrade performance. The design is also said to eliminate the need for complex mechanical adjustments and assures consistent application on every part. An external stroke control permits users to fine-tune the flow rate and closing snuffback for different sealant viscosities and dispensing applications. After each dispense cycle, the valve closes with a clean cutoff that eliminates drooling, rework and cleanup.
