Adhesive transfer film for high temperature applications

Scapa North America has introduced Unifilm U800B, an unsupported acrylic adhesive transfer film said to perform extremely well in end use applications requiring high temperature resistance.

The film is also said to offer an excellent balance of tack and peel, and maintains excellent shear properties at temperatures greater than 200?C. Designed for use on flexible printed circuits (FPC), LCD assembly and EMI shield bonding, the adhesive is also suitable for high temperature industrial bonding and automotive assembly.

The film is 2.0 mils thick, and is supplied on a variety of printed and non-printed stay flat release liners. The film adheres to a variety of metals and plastics including polyimide, polyester and ABS.
