Filling syringes and barrels from bulk containers is a messy and often wasteful process, but it is a necessity if the material is to be used in smaller volumes or distributed among multiple users, according to I&J Fisnar Inc. The company says it can assist in making this job easier by providing a selection of Barrel Loaders that efficiently transfer the material to a syringe. Loaders are available for 1/10th gal and 12 oz cartridges. A piston is REPLACEed into the syringe before loading and the syringe is connected to the syringe docking connector ready for fill.
As the syringe is filled from the needle end, the piston travels ahead
as the material enters the syringe, resulting in an air-free fill.
Barrel loaders are available in either manual version, or for
connection to automatic dispensers for precision time loading.
