Rittal introduces Cut-out Service for customized enclosures

The Rittal eCab CNC machining centre permits the company to be able to respond to modifications in a matter of days. Modifications can be done in-house on items such as:
* Flat parts - doors, sidewalls, roofs, mounting panels
* Unibody enclosures - cut-outs in the top, sides of AE, WM, KL, EB, JB uni-body welded type enclosures
* Drilling and tapping of flat copper busbar
The modification functions that the eCab is said to perform include any type of cut-out (this includes PB holes, D-sub holes, square holes, AC and fan cut-outs) in carbon, stainless steel or fibreglass. The unit can also provide tapped holes for customers that require predrilled and tapped mounting panels.
Rittal (www.rittal.ca) says that it strives to get every modification request turned around in approximately 5 business days or less. AutoCAD drawings are recommended as the best way to achieve a fast turnaround. However, if needed, Rittal’s Technical Support Group can help create these drawings for any customer, the company adds.
