OAKVILLE, ON – Javelin Technologies Inc. has taken up residence in a new state-of-the-art facility.
The company’s slogan, “Aim High‚” has come to life in an atmosphere of innovation and creativity that better reflects its level of service to the design engineering community.

Since 1997 Javelin has been helping Canadian companies to design better products with SolidWorks 3D software, comprehensive training and value-added services. It is now Canada’s leading provider of SolidWorks 3D design software, responsible for close to one-third of the software’s sales in the country, Bertrand Sicot, CEO of Dassault Systemes SolidWorks, told an overflowing grand opening crowd last month.

John Carlan, Javelin's managing director, said "the new facility offers customers the country’s finest training facilities, while at the same time giving them the opportunity to test out the latest 3D printing technology and experience design concepts in our new 3D theatre."
He added, "this facility is unlike anything our customers have ever seen before and will allow them to dramatically improve the process and productivity in their businesses."
Carlan's enthusiasm is shared by partner Ted Lee: "Our new facility offers technology for the future. Now, more than ever, we can help our customers operate at higher levels of personal and team productivity.
"We’re very proud of what we’ve accomplished."
The facility is full of furnishings and technology that have been designed in SolidWorks by customers of Javelin. The main boardroom features a Teknion table, Visioneering lighting and SunProject window coverings, while in the 3D theatre, a Paradigm sound system has been installed. Throughout the Javelin offices, Metalumen Manufacturing ceiling-suspended lighting provides illumination.
